Same Day RN (Pre/Post Op) – Per Diem

About the role

This position provides same‑day nursing care for patients undergoing pre‑operative and post‑operative procedures in an Ambulatory Surgical Center. The RN works on a per‑diem basis, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the provision of nursing care to ambulatory surgical patients.
• Assume total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician orders and center policies.
• Prepare patients for surgery, monitor them during procedures, and provide post‑operative recovery support.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN license.
• Minimum one year of experience in pre‑operative and/or post‑operative surgical patient care.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification.
