Strategic Finance Manager – Drive Financial Strategy for Global Growth

About the role

Strategic Finance Manager at The Flex, a fast‑growing international flexible‑accommodation business, responsible for building financial systems, controls and insights to support rapid global expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen day‑to‑day financial controls and reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile payments from booking platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, direct reservations) and bank accounts, resolving discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, review supplier invoices and oversee statutory filings across jurisdictions.
• Develop dashboards, budgets, forecasts and financial models to give real‑time visibility into performance.
• Identify manual finance tasks, automate processes with engineering teams, and detect financial risks and revenue leakage.

Required profile

• Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and strong ownership mindset.
• Comfortable working with large volumes of financial and operational data in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact directly with senior management.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong capabilities in financial reconciliation, controls and problem‑solving.
• Understanding of accounting concepts and financial principles.
