Supply Planner

About the role

METRO Cash and Carry Bulgaria is looking for a Supply Planner in Sofia. The role helps shape the future of wholesale by ensuring the right goods are available in stores and distribution centres, using sales forecasts to plan stock across the distribution network.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the appropriate goods availability in stores and distribution centres.
• Use sales forecasts to plan stock optimally across the distribution network by placing orders with suppliers and distribution centres.
• Collaborate with suppliers to manage order fulfilment and define delivery conditions according to customer needs.
• Place all purchasing orders for Metro locations (stores, warehouses, distribution centre, depot/hub), optimising them (full pallet or full truck when needed).
• Manage customer orders communicated by the store organisation.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics or Logistics is an advantage.
• Working level of spoken and written English.
• Analytical skills and logical thinking.

Required skills

• Excellent MS Office literacy.
• Advanced Excel and/or database knowledge is an advantage.
