Certification Business Developer – Sofia

About the role

RINA is looking for a motivated Certification Business Developer to join its Sofia office within the International Certification Division. You will support the growth of the certification business by managing sales pipelines, engaging with customers, and collaborating with senior business development managers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and follow up on new business opportunities to keep the sales pipeline full.
• Support the sales process, including preparing contracts, quotations, tenders and closing deals.
• Assist in cross‑selling initiatives and nurture existing client relationships.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and industry developments to spot new opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior Business Development Managers on client meetings and account management.
• Engage prospective and existing customers to understand their needs and build strong relationships.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular updates on sales activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (General) and a Master’s degree in Economics.
• 2‑3 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, customer support, call centre or telecom.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, self‑motivated attitude.
• Fluent in Bulgarian and good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and support data‑driven decisions.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales tools.
