Accounting Executive

About the role

MTS Globe, a European destination management company, is looking for an Accounting Executive within its Finance team. You will take responsibility for the company's financial processes, closings, tax and audits, managing daily accounting operations, cash flow, monthly closing, tax and reporting obligations so that rules, procedures and periodic obligations are met. You work with senior managers and the Shared Services Centre and report to the Bulgarian Finance lead.

Key responsibilities

• Overheads posting and reconciliation
• Cash flow preparation and bank reconciliation
• Create, monitor and post accruals, reclassifications and journal entries
• Fixed assets management
• Tax reporting and submission to government
• Coordinate month-end closing actions
• Reconcile sub-ledger accounts and the general ledger
• Prepare monthly closing accounting reports
• Handle intercompany, expenses and cost balance reports
• Payroll management and exchange rate updates
• Cooperate with Shared Services Centre departments to resolve inquiries and actions

Required profile

• University degree in finance, accounting or economics
• 3-5 years of accounting, tax or finance experience
• Fluent spoken and written English (mandatory)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good judgment, initiative and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to challenge existing processes to find improvements
