Finance Specialist - Payments

About the role

Global Tech Markets is looking for a Finance Specialist to join its fast-paced, performance-driven Payments team in Sofia. The role is part of the Payments Department and is central to delivering financial reporting to the business in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain Payment Service Provider (PSP) balances daily to ensure accurate fund tracking
• Track real-time cash flow by compiling and analysing payment data from several sources
• Track balances across PSP and bank accounts
• Reconcile gross versus net revenue impact of payments
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Analyse financial data sets to detect trends, anomalies or inconsistencies and give actionable insights
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Payments, Risk and Finance to gather data and resolve issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of workflows, operational procedures and financial reporting guidelines

Required profile

• Previous experience in finance operations, payments or back-office roles, preferably in iGaming, fintech or e-commerce
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, able to handle large volumes of transactional data
• Time management and organisational skills, working independently under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
• Clear verbal and written communication in English, with good teamwork across departments

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data validation)
• Experience with financial dashboards or reporting tools is an asset
• Familiarity with PSP platforms is a plus
