Channel Marketing Manager – Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover)

About the role

The Marketing Manager owns two connected mandates: generating partner‑sourced demand and building the partner capability to convert it. The role leads channel and co‑marketing planning, managing programs such as MDF/PDF, lead sharing, trial campaigns and annual joint marketing planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute partner‑sourced demand programs, including MDF/PDF, lead sharing, trial campaigns and joint annual marketing plans.
• Create and manage annual joint marketing plans with strategic partners, set objectives, track execution and report performance.
• Run the Partner Development Fund, reviewing requests, approving budgets and measuring ROI.
• Oversee the Partner Trial Program and lead‑sharing initiatives, ensuring follow‑up and conversion.
• Align channel marketing activities with product marketing, direct sales and other GTM teams to keep partner‑facing plans synchronized.
• Maintain partner communications through newsletters, portal updates and release announcements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in channel marketing, partner enablement or related partner‑facing roles.
• Proven track record working with indirect sales models such as resellers, VARs or distributors and building joint marketing plans.
• Hands‑on experience managing MDF or co‑op funds, including approvals and performance reporting.
• Experience designing and delivering training programmes or certification paths for sales‑facing audiences.
• Ability to create partner‑facing product documentation, competitive battle cards and sales plays.
• Experience collaborating with channel or indirect sales teams to translate commercial targets into partner marketing activities.
