Commercial Director

About the role

Ayvens is seeking a Commercial Director to join the Country Management Team and lead the commercial function across sales, account management, product development, customer service, quotations and marketing. The role drives growth, builds a high‑accountability culture and ensures the commercial organisation scales with the company’s ambitions in sustainable mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and annually review the commercial strategy, sales and marketing plans, forecasts and KPIs in collaboration with local management.
• Build and continuously improve a scalable operating model covering pipeline management, forecasting discipline, opportunity qualification and performance review routines.
• Lead the Commerce team, fostering ownership, accountability and situational leadership while ensuring effective cross‑department communication.
• Drive new business acquisition in corporate and SME segments, including indirect channel development through dealers.
• Manage the client portfolio, ensuring service expectations, retention and value creation through business reviews and consultancy.
• Own commercial P&L assumptions, monitor revenue, gross margin, order intake and pricing discipline to achieve financial targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 10 years of experience in commercial leadership roles with progressive responsibility.
• Proven track record building or transforming commercial organisations and sales operating models.
• Strong understanding of B2B environments and P&L mechanics.
• Fluent in English and Bulgarian.
