English-speaking Content Moderator in Sofia

About the role

Workster is partnering with a fast‑growing global technology company to recruit an English‑speaking Content Moderator for their Sofia‑based team. In this role you will review user‑generated text, images and video to ensure they comply with community guidelines and local laws, helping to keep the platform safe and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

• Review user‑generated content (text, images, video) for compliance with community standards and local regulations.
• Make consistent moderation decisions based on written policies and training materials.
• Tag, categorize and document content decisions accurately in the moderation platform.
• Escalate complex or borderline cases to senior moderators or policy teams.
• Provide feedback on content policy and contribute to guideline updates.
• Meet individual and team quality and productivity targets while maintaining high attention to detail.

Required profile

• Native or fluent English (C1 level or higher) with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Previous experience in content moderation, trust & safety, customer support or a related role is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to apply policies consistently under time pressure.
• Comfort handling potentially disturbing content professionally.
• Ability to work in rotating shifts and be on‑site in Sofia with full eligibility to live and work in Bulgaria.
