Field Medical Advisor

About the role

As a Field Medical Advisor, you will act as a scientific expert in the field, building high‑quality, compliant medical exchanges with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) across the territory. You will execute Takeda’s medical strategy, focusing on scientific excellence, omnichannel engagement and insight‑driven agility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement territory‑specific scientific engagement plans aligned with product launch and therapeutic‑area strategy.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with KOLs and stakeholders, communicating Takeda’s scientific and clinical value.
• Capture and relay structured, high‑value insights from HCPs to guide medical strategy and optimise field activities.
• Represent Medical Affairs at scientific events, advisory boards and investigator meetings, supporting evidence generation initiatives.
• Utilise CRM systems, analytics and AI‑powered platforms to tailor and enhance scientific engagements.
• Ensure all interactions comply with Takeda’s policies, SOPs and regulatory/legal standards.

Required profile

• Advanced scientific or medical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD preferred; MSc acceptable).
• 3‑4 years of field medical (MSL) experience in competitive specialty markets, preferably with Medical Affairs exposure.
• Strong knowledge of the Bulgarian healthcare landscape and fluency in English and Bulgarian.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and collaborate with cross‑functional teams without formal authority.
• Willingness to travel up to 60‑70% of the time.
