Automation Solutions Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Automation Solutions Engineer to join TELUS Digital’s Forward Deployed Automation Engineering team in Sofia. Working in a hybrid model, you will embed with client operations and workforce management teams to discover, design and deliver intelligent automation solutions that improve efficiency and drive business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical discovery by observing workflows, interviewing stakeholders and analysing processes to identify automation opportunities.
• Design end‑to‑end automation architectures using RPA, scripting, APIs, AI/LLM integration and agentic workflow approaches.
• Develop, test and deploy production‑ready automations, including scripts, RPA bots, data pipelines and AI‑driven integrations.
• Communicate solution designs, business benefits and implementation timelines to non‑technical audiences.
• Mentor and enable operational staff and team leads to adopt and sustain automation practices.

Required profile

• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a discovery‑focused environment.
• Experience translating business problems into technical automation solutions.
