Business Architect – Health & Insurance

About the role

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Application Architect to lead the design and delivery of software solutions for health and insurance clients. The role involves translating business and regulatory requirements into robust technical specifications and guiding development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze system, business, and architectural requirements from clients and regulatory bodies.
• Create software architecture and advise development teams on design decisions.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, maintainable, and secure software products.
• Lead documentation, evaluation, maintenance, and evolution of software architectures.
• Participate in resource estimation, quarterly planning, roadmap, and Agile Scrum meetings.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior architects and senior developers.
• Support maintenance, delivery, pre‑sales, and customer IT teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of experience in IT services, with at least 5 years in architecture roles.
• Fluent English; French healthcare insurance knowledge is a plus.

Required skills

• GraphTalk (5+ years).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Agile Scrum methodology.
• REST API development.
• SOAP web services.
