Chief Warehouse Manager

About the role

Elprom Heavy Industries seeks a detail‑oriented Chief Warehouse to design, build and scale logistics operations for both Elprom and Voltap. This foundational role will transform an unorganized warehouse into a lean, standardized, technology‑driven logistics hub.

Key responsibilities

• Design optimal physical layouts, zoning and racking structures for distinct product portfolios.
• Implement SOPs for receiving, put‑away, internal replenishment, picking, packing, shipping and reverse logistics.
• Establish and maintain 5S standards and visual management across all floor spaces.
• Develop comprehensive barcoding and labeling hierarchies for locations and inventory items.
• Lead selection, configuration, testing and rollout of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) integrated with existing ERP systems.
• Recruit, onboard and train warehouse personnel, fostering a safety‑first, lean culture.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years in senior logistics/warehouse leadership, with experience in greenfield setups or major restructuring.
• Deep expertise in Lean Logistics, 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international freight forwarding, customs clearance and carrier negotiations.
• Proven ability to manage shared resources for two distinct business entities under one roof.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience implementing or managing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP integrations.
• Proficiency with AIDC technologies such as barcode scanners and RFID.
• Expertise in Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen) and systematic labeling.
• Solid understanding of freight forwarding and customs processes.
