Junior Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

As a Junior Supply Chain Specialist you will support planning and purchasing activities to ensure timely availability of materials and components for production and customer orders. The role involves close cooperation with suppliers and internal teams to monitor material availability, production schedules, and deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and scheduling of purchase, internal and production orders according to business needs.
• Monitor material availability, review MRP messages and identify potential shortages or delays.
• Prepare and send requests for quotations to suppliers and follow up on purchase orders and deliveries.
• Collaborate with Production, Sales, Engineering, Procurement and other internal teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and planning data in the ERP system and support the upkeep of planning parameters such as lead times, lot sizes and safety stock levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Experience or internships in supply chain, purchasing, planning or logistics.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Good analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (advantage).
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
