Global Study Leadership - Clinical Lead - Oncology

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a Clinical Lead to drive the clinical delivery of regional and global oncology studies within its Global Study Leadership team. You will ensure recruitment, site performance, quality, and operational objectives are met while complying with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the clinical delivery of assigned oncology studies, meeting quality, timeline, recruitment, and operational goals.
• Develop and execute patient recruitment and site engagement strategies to achieve enrolment targets.
• Collaborate with Project Leaders and cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and maintain operational excellence.
• Provide leadership to clinical teams, supporting resource planning, training, and project delivery.
• Manage clinical risks, oversee quality standards, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Support financial oversight, including forecasting, budget management, and scope change identification.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor less experienced team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related scientific discipline.
• Strong oncology background with at least 5 years of experience in clinical research, monitoring, or clinical operations within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment.
• Proven ability to lead clinical study delivery, including patient recruitment, site management, and quality oversight.
• Excellent collaboration skills across cross‑functional and global teams.
• Passion for advancing clinical research and improving patient outcomes worldwide.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of ICH‑GCP guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Experience with clinical trial conduct and operational planning.
• Strong understanding of oncology clinical trial processes.
