Financial Analyst – European Finance Operations

About the role

Reporting to the Finance Manager for Europe, the Finance Analyst will execute standardized financial processes that support month‑end and quarter‑end close cycles, data consolidation, and reporting activities across European operations. The role ensures accurate, timely, and scalable financial deliverables while contributing to process optimisation and ad‑hoc business support.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare recurring consolidated reporting packages (weekly, monthly, quarterly) covering financial and commercial performance metrics.
• Assist in building and maintaining BI dashboards and support ad‑hoc analysis requests with clear data presentation.
• Prepare and manage monthly accruals using multiple data sources, and support model development for calculation accuracy.
• Analyze budget‑vs‑actual variances across operating expenses, headcount, and key commercial metrics, identifying primary drivers.
• Work with financial systems (ERPs, planning tools) to consolidate, structure, and upload data accurately.
• Support continuous process improvement through documentation, standardisation, and automation of financial workflows.
• Proactively identify issues, propose improvements, and drive resolutions independently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, data science or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or shared services environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with a solution‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in building and using BI dashboard tools.
• Data visualization and consolidation capabilities.
